Joseph V. Galinos was born in 1979 in Athens. He has a license to practice Physiotherapy and is the owner and Scientific Director of Physiogalinos Rehabilitation Clinics 1 & 2, modern centers for innovative applications of physiotherapy evaluation and rehabilitation.
He is also a NSOE instructor in the departments of B. Physiotherapy and Podiatry, while he has been for 2 years scientific manager at the Eressian Hammam and Spa.
He has been certified by the European College of Athletes for the treatment of an injured athlete SOFTE of ecosep.eu, while he has been trained in Manual Therapy (Chiropractic) of a recognized Greek educational program.
He has successfully completed all 3 training courses of Western Medical Acupuncture in the standards of the foundation course of England, as well as the following:
- Sports Lashing & Kinesiotape Seminar
- Blood Flow Restriction (BFR): A method of restricting blood flow. This is the future of rehabilitation, for the faster empowerment of vulnerable groups.
- ERGON Technique soft molecule mobilization techniques
- Lymphatic massage
- Gait and movement analysis
- Pilates Clinic
Also, Mr. Galinos has been trained and certified in dealing with the risk factors of falls and improving the quality of life of the elderly (OTAGO method).
He is one of the first certified Te.C.A.R operators nationwide, with certification from Italy, as well as ESWT (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy) certification from Switzerland. Holds a European first aid diploma. He is a cardiopulmonary resuscitation rescuer and defibrillator operator.
Since June 2019, he has equipped the Physiogalinos physiotherapy center with the 3 Tesla Magnetic Stimulator (unique in the NE Aegean), the Papimi - Nanopulse Therapy (pulse electromagnetic field generator) and the PiezoWave2 ESWT exclusively.
He is also the Founder and President of PAOFP-Lesvos (Panhellenic Association of Freelance Physiotherapists).
